COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is this a concrete topping?
Concrete Engraving is not a topping. It adds nothing to the thickness of the existing concrete. It is a stain and the design is cut into the concrete. Since it is not a topping it can not chip off.
What kind of concrete can I use this process on?
Concrete Engraving can be done on existing concrete and recently poured concrete. If the concrete was recently poured I recommend letting it cure thirty days before staining and engraving. Concrete Engraving can not be used on exposed aggregate concrete.
Am I limited on the design?
Concrete Engraving allows you the freedom to choose the design you want - brick, tile, stone, or any combination of these. You are also given a wide variety of colors to incorporate into your design. Concrete Engraving can also incorporate art designs, patterns, monograms, and logos.
What if my concrete has cracks or stains?
Cracks do not need to limit you from enhancing your concrete. The cracks can be incorporated into the design or filled to minimize their appearance. Existing stains are hidden by the colored stain.
How long does concrete engraving last?
Concrete Engraving is permanent. The engraving is permanent and lasts the life of the concrete. The stain is also permanent.
How do I maintain my engraved concrete?
Concrete Engraving is very low maintenance. It is easily cleaned with a detergent and water.
Where can I use Concrete Engraving?
Concrete engraving can be used on concrete driveways, patios, sidewalks, porches, garage floors, basement floors - anywhere you have existing concrete - inside and outside - home and commercial.
The Concrete Engraving process is clean, fast, and leaves the surrounding area undisturbed.
